British Shorthair

The British Shorthair is a medium-to-large-sized cat breed known for its distinctive rounded head and dense, short coat. This breed is not massive like the Maine Coon or Siberian cat , but some male British Shorthairs can weigh as much as 17 pounds , while females usually top off at 12 pounds or less . British Shorthairs are wonderful family cats with an easy-going personality. They typically get along well with everyone, including children and other animals in the household. Despite being active, they are not hyper and tend to be quiet. British Shorthairs can adapt to various living spaces, including apartments, and are generally low-maintenance.
